Two men are being questioned after the seizure of drugs with a street value of 300,000 euro.
Gardai in Limerick discovered 3.5kg of cocaine and 3kg of amphetamine when they stopped and searched a car on Ballysimon Road in Limerick City on Saturday night.
The two occupants, both men in their 20s, were arrested at the scene.
They are being detained at Henry Street and Roxboro Road Garda Stations under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act 1996, under which they can be held for up to seven days.
