Gillick disqualified in Doha

Ireland's David Gillick was disqualified in the 400metres at the World Indoor Championships in Doha.
Gillick, fancied as a strong challenger for the title, failed to reproduce his top form and had to settle for fifth place but was later disqualified with causing interference with American Bershawn Jackson.
Christopher Brown of the Bahamas took the gold medal in 45.96 seconds, with Cuba's William Collazo taking silver and American Jamaal Torrance bronze.
