SPRING was in the air in the pubs and clubs of Swords last week as Nightowl hit the Fingal capital. AS the winter months come to a close, punters waved goodbye to the unwelcome ice as the New Year's resolutions quickly become a distant memory around the hotspots.
With the arrival of spring just around the corner, The Harp was once again packed to the brim with bubbly occupants, pulled in by the cosy atmosphere on offer last Friday. The North Street venue is no stranger to parties each week, catering for various functions and events and it proved no different this time around.
Night Owl first caught up with Brian O'Loughlin, who was celebrating his 40th birthday with a wealth of friends and family commemorating the evening.

This trend continued throughout the evening as Brian was also photographed with his godmother, Olivia O'Loughlin.
Olivia praised Brian's good nature and like everyone else at the party, she wished him the happiest of birthdays.
As the night continued a similar pattern formed as Brian's cousins declared their appreciation for the party host. Caroline and Cathryn O'Loughlin laughed and joked all night before smiling for the camera to mark the evening.
It was certainly clear that Brian enjoyed the night as did Tanya O'Loughlin, who was pictured alongside Orla Wellman, Richard O'Loughlin and Bernie O'Loughlin, capping off another busy night in the Harp.
