THE council has had a change of heart and will now proceed with plans to provide car park spaces for the residents of Back Strand in Malahide.
The project was thought to be off the agenda but the council's transportation department told the Malahide/Howth Area Committee last week that the works would be carried out 'as soon as funding has been identified'.
The issue was raised at the committee by Cllr Eoghan O'Brien (FF).
