Bleek end to 2011
2011 ended at the Wright Venue in Swords with a huge hip hop party featuring 'Memphis Bleek' (pictured) who last summer could be heard trading rhymes on the Oxegen stage with Jay Z. The man behind some of the biggest urban tracks of the last decade came to Swords for a very special party at the award winning Wright Venue on December 30th. From his US top 10 track with Missy Elliot 'Is that yo' chick' to underground anthems with DMX and Ja Rule, Memphis Bleek is hop hop royalty with his production skills and rhymes popping up on countless classic jams. With the Wright Venue the regular Irish party haunt for fellow Roc-a-fella act Rihanna, Memphis jetted into Swords to host the WV urban, end of year party and he brought hip-hop dj, Legend Dodge and chart topper Starboy Nathan to get the party started. Starboy Nathan is best known for massive chart hits such as 'Diamonds' and 'Hangover' and with upcoming releases with Flo Rida and Wretch 32 and and tours with JLS, this is one starboy that is flying high. Joining WV resident Frank Jez and Tando on the decks, Dodge is no stranger to Dublin having cohosted the MTV Lick Party's with Trevor Nelson and with regular mixes on 2fm and Fm104. Now living in LA and resident at party's for everyone from P-diddy to Snoop Dogg, Dodge was the cherry on top of this all star urban end of year party.
