Blood donors turn out in big numbers
SOME 107 donors attended the recently held blood donor clinic in St Maur's GAA Centre, Rush. A breakdown of the total figures show that 10 first time donors and 10 former donors attended the clinic and this augurs well for the continued success of the Rush clinic. Meanwhile, some 200 donors attended the recent clinic in the Combined Clubs Community Centre, Balbriggan, including 20 first-time donors and 17 former donors. A special thank you to local voluntary organiser, Kevin Blessing. Many thanks also to members of the ICA Guild for their help and support prior to and during the holding of the clinic.
