Christening party for Holly at Boro
KEN AND DIANE CELEBRATE ON SPECIAL DAY
THE Old Boro has gained a great reputation since its opening in 2007 and the Swords landmark has been welcomed back with open arms, merging the traditional with contemporary resulting in a vintage interior. The hearty venue attracts a warm crowd and is known for playing host to any given occasion.
Last Sunday saw Ken Pearson and Diane McKenna celebrate their daughter Holly's christening in the Main Street venue. The ceremony was held in Beaumont and saw a mass of Diane and Ken's friends and family attend the after party in the Old Boro. Nightowl witnessed the event and caught up with a select few that roamed around the room. Proud parents, Ken and Diane got the ball rolling with a lovely photograph to commemorate the occasion. Holly, however, was busy sleeping off her long day at home, unlike her uncle Richie Pearson.
Ken's brother Richie was seen soaking up the vibes with friends and family. Richie posed alongside Ken and Diane, Brian Martin, Ben Murphy and Jean O'Connor in a happy group photo.
Jean, who enjoyed the day thoroughly, quickly made it known that she is Holly's proud grandmother.
Also attending the event were good friends Michelle Martyn and Lorraine Pearson. The Coolock girls were seen having a great time during their stay in the Old Boro. The same could also be said for Ger McCarthy, who was pictured with good friends, Linda Byrne, Sandra Dempsey, Arlene Doyle and Diane McKenna in a group picture that captured the mood of the evening.
Elsewhere, lingering around the Old Boro were local lads, Paddy O'Neill and Mick Holmes and they were joined by a bubbly group consisting of Tracy Hanley, Kim Kavanagh, Tina Lamb, Glen Lalor and Claire Murphy.
All the gang posed for a group shot marking yet another successful Sunday in the Old Boro.
