DAA managers appointed to top positions at IIPMM

TWO SENIOR DAA managers have been appointed to prominent positions in the Irish Institute of Purchasing and Materials Management.
Sean O'dwyer, from Bettystown, is DAA Category Manager - Operations in Group Procurement and was recently appointed to the position of vice president of the Institute of Purchasing and Materials Management, while his colleague Peter White, from Swords, is DAA Category Manager - IT & Utilities and was elected to the organisation's board of directors. The institute's aim is to promote excellence in all aspects of purchasing and supply management and to promote the purchasing profession through education and training. The appointment of the two men has been welcomed by DAA Group Head of Procurement, Paddy Mcmenamin, who said: ' This is the first time that two members of the same organisation have been elected and is a reflection of their professionalism and the high regard with which they and the DAA Procurement Team are held.'
