PLANNING APPLICATIONS RECEIVED:

Kian Cleere for erection of a detached 4 bedroom dormer dwelling (245sqm). The proposal will include all associated site and ancillary works on a site of 0.13 hectares, the proposal will include sharing an existing entrance all to the side at Bramley Wood, Kinsealy Lane, Malahide. John & Thornton for storey extension & two storey extension to rear, internal alterations, new front door, bay window, roof lights and other external modifications at 11 The Rise located withBrenda single in an ACA (Architectural Conservation Area) at 11 The Rise, Malahide.

PLANNING DECISIONS:

Permission Granted:

Kinsealy Homes Ltd for a residential development at Chapel Road (Kinsealy LAP, Character Area 3). The application provides for 38 no. two storey dwellings (8 no. 4bedroom and 30 no. 3bedroom units), a playground, landscaped open space, a riparian strip, new boundary treatments, ESB substations, underground pumping station, all ancillary site and engineering works, and new vehicular and pedestrian entrances to serve the development from Chapel Road, all on a site of 2.84 hectares. The development will also be served by a new proposed foul sewer (110mm diameter) to link from Chapel Lane to the Swords Road, Malahide as follows: construction of 2.68kms of new sewer from the subject site along Chapel Lane and abutting River Sluice to north of residential component of application, northwards to Connolly Avenue (including construction of new pump at this location), Back Road, Malahide Road (R107) and Swords Road (R106), Malahide at Chapel Road, Kinsealy. Michael McBurney for alterations and modifications to previously granted planning permission (Ref. No. F07A/1238). The proposed works include the omission of the first floor terrace and stairs from ground level to first floor balcony, on the west side ( Texas Lane) and the incorporation of this space within the main building at both ground and first floor, the incorporation of the garage within the main building, various internal alterations to include the addition of a study at ground floor level and accompanying adjustments of elevations at ' Corner Cottage', Texas Lane - Bissets Strand, Malahide.

Mr & Mrs O'Flanagan to convert garage to television room and replace flat roof over television room and utility area with pitched and hipped roof and sky lights in roof and extend pitched roof across front over hall door at 77 Seapark, Malahide.

Permission Refused:

S Murphy for the construction of 2 no. detached dwellings on existing 0.45 hectare site. House Type A is 710 sq.m., 2 storey over basement, 4 bed with pitched roof, brick and rendered elevations with balconies on first floor to the northeast and southwest. House Type B is 403 sq.m., 2 storey 5 bed, with pitched roof, stone, zinc and rendered elevations with balconies on first floor to the northeast, southeast, southwest. All with associated services and site works including new individual entrances for both dwellings and wrought iron boundary fencing to match existing site boundaries at Site No 6 Abington, Malahide.
