Rose Bowl winners receive their prize

TWO major trophies have been awarded recently by the Aer Lingus Ten Pin Bowling Club as the winners of the annual Rose Bowl and Wednesday League were crowned. Winners of the coveted Rose Bowl trophy which is in its 28th year of running was a team with the moniker 'Where's the Luck?'. The team was made up of Paul Chandler, Martina Shortt, Niall Mcswiney and Kieran Shortt and they beat off competition from a dozen other teams to claim the annual trophy. The Wednesday League winners were named as 'Gringos' made up of Mark O'riordan, Frank Bermingham, Brendan Brady and John Fearn who were presented with their prize by league treasurer, Phil Joyce. The high average winners in the same league were Mark O'riordan and Gillian Duignam.
