Seamus Ennis gig
THE Seamus Ennis Centre in Naul is staging a performance by John Jorgenson on Thursday, September 3rd.
Jorgenson first came to prominence in the mid 1980s when he and Chris Hillman from The Byrds formed awardwinning country/rock supergroup, The Desert Rose Band.
In 1990, Jorgenson formed award-winning guitar instrumental trio The Hellecasters with fellow Fender guitar legends, Jerry Donahue and Will Ray. He is well known for his work with Elton John's band from 1993 - 1999, contributing not only lead guitar and backing vocals, but also mandolin, pedal steel guitar, and saxophone to both live shows and CDs. The doors open at 7.30pm and the performance starts at 8.30pm. Tickets cost € 22.
