Could you be the next talent show superstar?
ENTRIES are now being sought for the popular talent contest organised by the St Margaret's Social and Entertainment Committee.
With a prize fund in excess of € 5,000 up for grabs, the competition is open to both senior and junior contestants and entries are now being taken.
The winner of the senior section will receive € 2,000 and the Liam Hoey Perpetual Trophy. The runner-up will receive € 750 and third will receive € 500.
The winner of the junior category will receive € 750, while the runner up will receive € 500. Third will receive € 250. The Best Traditional Act will receive € 300, while the Most Promising Act will receive € 250.
The competition is open to all type of acts, comedy, mime, dance groups, bands, solo artists and intrumentalists.
The competition is held over three nights at the Coolquoy Lodge, with the first heat taking place on Sunday, September 26th. The second heat takes place on Sunday, October 3rd with the grand final being held on Sunday, October 17th.
