Footpath works
IMPROVEMENTS to the footpath at the Chapel Gate/Chapel Street entrance in Balbriggan will be listed for consideration in next year's programme of works, the council has stated.
Cllr Peadar O'Kelly (Lab) was informed that the area had been examined and that significant construction works were required to the footpath.
'There is no provision in the 2010 Transportation Programme of Works for this work to be carried out. However it will be listed for consideration in the preparation of the Draft Transportation Programme of Works for 2011.'
Regarding the dishing of the footpath at the new Millfield shopping centre on the Naul Road, the matter would be taken up with the site developer, the Town Council stated.
