Gardaí in appeal for witnesses

GARDAÍ at Balbriggan are investigating the fatal road traffic collision that resulted in the death of Balbriggan teacher, John Bailey.
Local gardaí are appealing for witnesses to the accident to contact them at Balbriggan Garda Station at 01-8020510. The accident occurred around 8am on Wednesday morning, December 16th, where the road out of Balrothery meets the main road into Balbriggan.
A car and a motor cyclist were in collision. The male motor cyclist, John Bailey, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the car was uninjured and the road remained closed for some time after the accident.
