Library grinds

FINGAL County Libraries is responding to the needs of local students in a practical and innovative way during the current recession.
It has extended traditional library supports aimed at Leaving Certificate students by offering free grinds in oral French to students in preparation for the oral exams.
It is hoped this project fills the gap left by dwindling incomes and the requirement for higher entry points to third-level courses.
The classes are running in Balbriggan and Malahide libraries and it is hoped it will be extended to all libraries in subsequent years. Phone Balbriggan at 01-8704401 or Malahide at 018704430.
