ARDGILLAN Community College welcomed its incoming first year students last Friday, marking the second year of the school's existence. With over 85 incoming pupils the school's numbers have now increased to over 150.
It is expected that ultimately the school will accommodate 1,000 pupils in a few years time. The school, which forms part of an integrated school campus with two primary schools, Gaelscoil Bhaile Brigin and Bracken Educate Together, is being built on a phased basis with phase 2 of the building expected to commence next year. An open day will take place on Saturday, September 11th from 10am to 2pm for all prospective parents to have a chance to meet staff and see the stateof-the-art facilities.
