GAA Ballyboughal: The club agm is being held this Thursday at 8pm in the school hall. All players and members are encouraged to attend. Juvenile training has started back on Saturdays at 10am on the pitch.

There was no winner of the lotto. Make sure to do your envelopes weekly or set up a direct debit and enjoy four free weeks.

Fingallians

Our Under-16 footballers had a great win by a point over Castleknock to get the year off to a winning start. Our Under8s also got off to a winning start with unbeaten performances in a mini tournament at Gormanston.

Our Juvenile section will be having their Annual Sponsored Walk on February 6th. The proceeds of this will be divided equally between the John O'Shea - Haiti Goal Appeal and our Juveniles section.

The club football seven-aside got off to a successful start last Friday with a big turnout. Round two will take place this Friday. Players and managers are asked to attend from 7.15pm. Soup and sandwiches will be available after the evening's football.

Brendan Kealy will return to the club on Friday at 7pm to continue work with coaching goalkeepers. Mentors and keepers are invited. Contact padraig.durkan.gpo.dublin@g aa.ie if you wish to attend.

A reminder that, in all hurling games and practice sessions it is mandatory for all players to wear a helmet with a facial guard.

Naomh Mearnóg

The Intermediate 1 football play-off semi-final takes place at home on Sunday next at 11am. Clontarf will provide the opposition. We earnestly request that every club member comes along to support the lads in what is a vital game for the team and the club.

We wish Ray, Richie, Tommo, Barry, Daire and the squad the very best of luck.

Our Under-21 hurlers are in action on Saturday at 2pm against Parnells in the championship. With the playing season about to start we wish to remind all mentors in all codes that bookings for the allweather pitch are handled by Pat Monaghan and Mick Kissane. Willie Fallon looks after the allocating of the grass pitches for matches and training.

A sincere thank-you to Dunboyne, Na Fianna, Lucan and O'Tooles who provided challege games for our Under 11, 15, 16 and Intermediate football teams at the weekend.

Medical kits must be left in to Eamonn in the club for refilling immediately. Next Monday night we have a presentation in the bar to our Ladies Football All Stars and All Star nominees. The function takes place at 8pm and all are welcome. Food will be served, so please come along.

St Finian's

Numbers drawn in Sunday's club lotto were 13, 14, 19, 20 and the € 20 winners were Irene Whelan, D O'Gorman, T Liston, Brid and Jim Ryan, and Liam Ryan. There was no winner of the € 4,200 jackpot.

The previous week the numbers were were 1, 5, 19, 24 and the € 20 winners were Stephen Murphy, Emmet Maher, Anne-Marie McGuirk, Marion Joyce and Harry O'Brien.

Our coffee shop is open every Saturday in the new club house from 11am to 1pm. Come and relax over a cup of tea or coffee, catch up with friends and meet new friends. As your children are enjoying the nursery, pop upstairs and enjoy a cuppa. Find out what's going on in your club. The office is now located in our new clubhouse. Feel free to look around the building.

The club shop is now to be found in the new building. The new meeting room and function room are available to rent. Contact Maree McDonagh to book a room.

Annual membership fees are now due and the committee requests early payment to assist cash flow. All of the team registration fees are to be paid at this time of year and therefore it's important that membership fees are paid now.

This year will see the juvenile boot-tagging system brought into play. As each player pays his/her membership, a football boot tag (red) is awarded to him/her to place on their boots.

The juvenile football season commences next weekend and a Juvenile Committee meeting will take place this evening ( Tuesday) at 8.30pm.

St Maurs

Well done to all played in the Gormanston hurling tournament on Sunday. There were mixed results and some very good performances. Training is in full swing and it is vital we have a full turnout at all sessions. Membership is now due and should be paid before the end of the week. Juvenile training fees are also due. Full details on the club noticeboard.

The re-fixed agm of the adult games section will take place next Monday in the clubhouse at 8pm. All adult players, managers and supporters should attend.

Help is needed in all areas of the club. If you can help with juvenile coaching or take on one job, now is the time to do it. Please contact any committee member.

There was no winner of this week's lotto jackpot of € 3,000, and next week it will be € 3,250. The lotto draw takes place every Sunday night during bingo.

Skerries Harps

Adult football training resumes this evening ( Tuesday) and on Thursday with two hourly sessions at 7.15 and 8.15pm. Minor football training is at 7.45pm this evening.

The senior footballers play their back league match against Naomh Olaf away next Sunday.

Well done to Colin Daly and Bryan Cullen on playing for Dublin and DCU respectively in last weekend's O'Byrne Cup.

Juvenile games resume this weekend – see website for all fixtures. The Juvenile Academy continues on Saturday from 10-11.30am. Contact Tomas at 087-7257582 for more details. Indoor hurling continues in Gormanston.
