IN what can only be described as a monsoon shower, the Loughshinny players took to this game at a lightning speed.
Adam Corr and Annabelle Francis had a couple of early shots saved before star player Ciaran Foran opened the scoring on 20 minutes.
Harry Forkan in goal pulled off some magnificent saves before some great play by Hartstown rewarded them with a well-taken goal.
In the second half shots from Ashling Harris, Cillian Dalya and Paul Keating were all saved or blocked on the line.
Then, with five minutes remaining, a goalmouth scramble saw Hartstown plunder the winning goal, despite the best efforts of Maile Hopkins and Ronon McNally to keep it out.
